  • Telephonics Corporation announces the successful completion of Site Acceptance Testing of AeroTrac Automation System at Macau International Airport

  • Telephonics Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Griffon Corporation (NYSE:GFF), announced today that its Electronic Systems Division (ESD) successfully completed Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of the AeroTrac® automation system at Macau International Airport. Macau airport is an integral component of the economic infrastructure in southern China. With over 5 million passengers and 45,000 flights per year, the airport plays a pivotal role in the tourism and MICE (Meeting, Incentive Travel, Conference, Exhibitions) industry of the region. The Telephonics AeroTrac system, with its advanced Flight Plan Data Processing, allows for automatic, transparent, and seamless planning and coordination with neighboring Air Traffic Control centers that already use the AeroTrac system. The Sensor Data Fusion Processor engine provides controllers with the most accurate and timely aircraft information combining both ADS-B and radar data.
