Communication Systems

Wired & Wireless Secure Communications

Trulink® Wireless Intercommunication System

TruLink is the most versatile wireless intercom in the world today. TruLink operates reliably in high noise environments and is resistant to shock, vibration, moisture, sand, dust, and extreme temperatures.

Applications

The ideal applications for using TruLink are situations where untethered, hand-free, full duplex communications are required in high ambient noise environments. Many applications can be addressed with an autonomous stand-alone wireless TruLink network. Other applications interface to an existing wired intercommunications system with the option of communicating through long range radios. TruLink eliminates safety hazards of misinterpreted hand signals or commands that cannot be reliably heard.

Aviation

  • Fighter/Attack Aircraft
  • Cargo Aircraft
  • Refueling Aircraft
  • Helicopter/Rotor Wing

Watercraft

  • Watercraft

Land/Vehicle

  • Vehicle wireless ICS
  • Dismounted Soldier
  • Convoy

Utility Aircraft Operation

  • HDP hose deployment personnel
  • HRS hot-refueling supervisor
  • FAARP flight area arming & refueling point
  • SPRM single point refueling monitor
  • LM loadmaster
  • GOPS ground operations/maintenance
  • Aircraft Radio monitoring

Trulink provides the ability to have up to 31 users within 1500 feet connected wirelessly to the Aircraft ICS. Where aircraft ICS communication is not required Trulink can be configured to created independent standalone network for specialized teams. Up to 50 networks can be created with the 50 available channels and each channel can have up to 31 users.

Search and Rescue Operations

  • SAR team coordination
  • Submersible Portable Transceiver Unit
  • Connection to Aircraft Intercom

Submersible Portable Transceiver allows the Rescue Diver or Parajumper (PJ) hands free wireless communication to the pilot or medical team on long-range radio.

Tactical Aircraft Operations

  • Weapons/Munitions Replenishment
  • Aircraft Turn-around
  • Optional Wireless to Aircraft

Maintenance & Logistics

  • Towing/Push-back
  • Eliminates Long Cords

Trulink reduces injury risk and overall operation time by eliminating misinterpreted hand signals.

  • Hangar Activities
  • Aileron Installation
  • Engine Testing and Aircraft Maneuvering

Trulink built-in ambient microphone allows hands free VOX operation in high noise environment.

United States Coast Guard

Trulink Submersible Portable is the system of choice for the US Coast Guard. Crew-members operate in high noise environments and require full duplex, hands free communication while performing critical tasks on both Defender Class & 47' Motor Life Boats.

Defender Class Response Boat Mission:

Developed in a direct response to the need for additional Homeland Security assets in the wake of the September 11th terrorist attacks. The Defender Class boats are assigned to the Coast Guards Maritime Safety and Security Teams (MSST), Maritime Security Response Team (MSRT), Marine Safety Units (MSU), and Small Boat Stations throughout the United States Coast Guard. The Defender Class boats are the ultimate waterborne assets for conducting fast and high-speed maneuvering tactics and protecting the coastlines of America.

47' Motor Life Boat Mission:

TruLink provides the Crewmembers on 47' Motor Life Boats hands free communication while performing rescue missions. In addition, TruLink enables Crewmembers to actively engage in Long Range Radio communication while simultaneous broadcasting to all crewmembers aboard the vessel. The United States Coast Guard 47-foot Motor Life Boat is designed as a first response rescue resource in high seas, surf and heavy weather environments. It is built to withstand the most severe conditions at sea and is capable of completing a rescue even under the most difficult circumstances. It is self-bailing, self-righting, almost unsinkable, and has a long cruising radius for its size.

Ground

Trulink provides the ability to have up to 31 users per channel within 1500 feet connected wirelessly to the ICS. With 50 available channels Ground Crews can form independent work teams for critical mission specific tasks.
